| Description: | An Environmental Consultancy seeks a Business Development Geo-engineer, in Survey and Site investigation team to pursue business development and build the client base as well as strengthen the Survey and Site investigation team’s geoscience and geo-technical and geo-engineering capabilities. Expanding the Survey and Site Investigation business sector, to meet current demands of the offshore energy sector. Technical competency in geophysics or geo-technical fields, with a proven track record in business development. Requiring in-depth understanding of current Site Investigation market, thorough knowledge and previous ‘hands-on’ experience of offshore Site Investigation business. Responsibilities: Expanding client base, securing new business, establish and deliver business development strategy, keep comprehensive record of business development. Be a focal point for external customers. Provide technical, commercial and project management in support of the team’s activities, building networks. Adhere to company HSEQ systems/procedures. Preferences: Degree in geoscience/earth science/geo/civil engineering, approx 10 yrs industry experience, previous ‘hands-on’ experience of offshore Site Investigation/Site Investigation field operations/survey management. Track record in commercial and business development role with excellent technical and commercial acumen, network of site investigation client contacts. MSc. or other postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject desirable. | |
